Browns didn’t offer J.J. Watt more than the Cardinals despite a report to the contrary, source says

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Browns didn’t offer more for J.J. Watt than the Arizona Cardinals, a league source tells cleveland.com.

According to John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports Radio 98.7 FM in Phoenix, the Browns and Colts offered more money than the Cardinals, and Tennessee’s offer was similar.

The Cardinals on Monday signed Watt, the three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, to a two-year deal worth $31 million, with $23 million guaranteed.

Biden budget pick Neera Tanden drops out of nomination process after confirmation process unravels

WASHINGTON – Neera Tanden, President Joe Biden's controversial pick to lead the Office of Management and Budget, withdrew herself from consideration Tuesday after her confirmation collapsed last week, dealing Biden his first major blow in his nominations to the Cabinet.
