One third of aged care residents receiving substandard care, royal commission finds

A royal commission into aged care has found "unacceptably high levels of substandard care" in the crisis-plagued sector.

The final report of the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety was released today, with the Federal Government announcing an extra $452 million in funding to address immediate priorities identified by the two-year investigation.
