Ocean search for missing woman Melissa Caddick called off

Police have called off the ocean search for missing businesswoman Melissa Caddick.

Divers today searched 6000 square metres of ocean floor at Dover Heights in Sydney, just a few hundred metres from Caddick's home.

Nothing of interest was found.

Beverly Hills shooting: Robbers take off with $500G watch, report says

A woman was shot Thursday during a robbery at a famed Beverly Hills restaurant, officials said.

Authorities said the woman was eating with two other people at Il Pastaio, a high-end Italian eatery, when three robbers demanded property from a man at the establishment, according to police and reports.

Police believe the man who was robbed was targeted for his high-end watch, a law enforcement source told the Los Angeles Times. 

TMZ reported that a $500,000 Richard Mille watch was stolen.

Fierce fire tears through adjoining Melbourne factories

More than 70 firefighters have spent the night tacking a fire at two adjoining factories in Melbourne's south-east.

Fire crews were called to the blaze on Age Street in Cheltenham just after 12.40am.

External walls collapsed and windows exploded during the fierce fire, which crews were forced to attack from above.

NTSB says United engine failure caused by metal fatigue
